Project overview
Hired as a Senior Digital Designer (UX/UI), I took the initiative to lead a full-scale website audit over eight months. With no predefined scope beyond the initial request, I built the project from the ground up, developing a structured audit plan, roadmap, and execution strategy.
Through in-depth research and analysis, I evaluated the website’s visual design, user interface, user experience, content quality, and performance. The audit uncovered critical inconsistencies in branding, usability pain points, and inefficiencies in development processes. My findings were compiled into a detailed proposal outlining quick wins and long-term strategic improvements to enhance user experience, visual identity, and technical optimisation. I presented this proposal to two directors and multiple stakeholders, including the developer, IT manager, and graphic designer. Key recommendations included establishing global design styles, optimising navigation and search functionality, and implementing scalable design systems. My proposed changes were accepted, shaping the roadmap for ongoing website enhancements and influencing future business decisions to better align the site with user needs and industry best practices.
